Amateur Championship
Justin Phelps won at Fulwell. Having finished 10th in the qualifying stage, Justin went on to emphatic victories over Graham Homewood, Paul Kirchner and James Taverner, before beating Stuart Samphire 2&1 in the final. Justin goes on to represent Middlesex in the Champion of Champions tournament in September.

Champion of Champions
Congratulations go to Justin Phelps of Ruislip GC. Justin won the Champion of Champions at Woodhall Spa GC, beating all the current english County Champions to win by three shots from Ed Richardson of Kent.

Middlesex Colts v BB&O (L)
The Colts played the BB&O in the last League match of the year at Sudbury on 11th September. Although neither side was able to win the League, the match was still played very competitively and there was just one point advantage to Middlesex after the morning foursomes. However the BB&O came out strongly in the afternoon to take the match 7½-4½.

Middlesex Seniors v BB&O (L)
The final League match of the season was played against BB&O at Wyke Green on 6th September. After the first five games, Middlesex had a healthy lead, but four of the five final players all losing 1 down. The result of 6½-3½ did not reflect the closeness of the match.

Middlesex v BB&O (L)
Middlesex played the BB&O on Sunday 23rd May away at East Berkshire. An extremely close match went down to the last match on the last green, with Clive Bowler making a great birdie against Greg Evans to clinch the narrowest of wins 6½-5½.
