Noel Johnston 1950 - 2006
It is with deep regret and much sadness that I report the death of Noel Johnston of North Middlesex Golf Club. Noel was a member of the Middlesex County Executive Committee and was the Boy's Manager in 2004-05 and the Youth's Manager in 2006.
He will be best remembered for his cheery smile and his willingness to help out whereever he was needed. Under his guidance the Boys and Youth teams of the County flourished and have become increasingly successful.
Noel was very proud of his son Andrew’s success at becoming a boy international and spent much of his holidays and spare time driving him to the various venues. It is hoped by all those involved in Middlesex golf that Andrew will go on to fulfill his and his father’s dream of becoming a full international and successful touring professional golfer.
Noel will be sadly missed by all of us but especially by his loving wife Jackie, and his children, Emily, James and Andrew.
