MCGU vs Beds at Ashford Manor 27/07/09
The Seniors were victorious but only just 5.5 - 4.5 in a tense finish. 5 of the singles went to the last green. Gaining the points for MCGU were Andy Williams (Northwood), Chris Vallender (Fulwell), Howard Marshall, Mike Willcox, Henry Webster (all Mill Hill), and Joao Teixeira (Haste Hill) with a half. Not quite raising their arms in a victory salute were Tom Powell (Mill Hill), Ian Fulda (Sudbury), Alan Drake (Muswell Hill) and Capt. Bruce Hurley (Fulwell).
