Fielding its youngest ever team with average age of 18 years and 6 months MCGU lost the a.m. foursomes 0.5 - 3.5. although 3 of the matches went to the final green. The p.m. singles saw a tremendous fight back with victories from S. Fallon, D. Fallon (both Hendon) H. Casey, J. Fernandes (both Enfield), R. Chard (Wyke Green), a half from D. Kneafsey but defeats for D. Ginn and T. Ginn (all Sudbury) Overall result 6-6.
